Samantha Perkins, PA-C

Samantha Perkins, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant and Surgical First Assistant at Western Surgical Group. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Nevada, Reno, and an Associate of Arts in Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco before pursuing healthcare.

In 2022, Samantha completed her Physician Assistant training at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, earning a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. That same year, she passed the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam.

Samantha gained clinical experience through rotations in dermatology, emergency medicine, plastic surgery, psychiatry, OB/GYN, family medicine, and pediatrics. Following graduation, she joined Western Surgical Group as a Physician Assistant and Surgical First Assistant.

She is an active member of the Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants, the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Samantha is also passionate about volunteering and has supported organizations including COVID-19 vaccination clinics and Ronald McDonald House.
