I'm very lucky to have found Dr Christopher Madsen. He deserves the highest rating possible, I would give him 100 stars if I could.
My story started 2 years ago June of 2024. I had my gallbladder removed by a different surgeon. Since then I developed multiple intrabdominal abscess do to gallstones retained/spillage from initial surgery. I have been hospitalized 2 times for IV antibiotics, have had 2 ERCP surgeries to remove stones from main bile ducts, Major open abdominal wash out surgery, all from other surgeons not related to Western Surgical. I developed more abscesses 5 months later. I was hospitalized again for 4 days of IV antibiotics and 2 weeks of pill antibiotics. Over the next year I had 4 Interventional Radiology needle asperations on one abscess that traveled to right flank. Then I had a drain placement in the same abscess for 2 weeks. When the drain was removed it never healed, just leaked puss daily for months. I was very lucky to have been referred to Dr Madsen from a surgical nurse, when having a unrelated procedure. She said that he always has good outcomes!
At my initial appointment Dr Madsen was extremely professional. After listening to my story and looking at all of my scans and records. He knew what the problem was and had a plan right way for all of my abscess not just the one. He had a team all in place for my surgery, and after surgery care. He coordinated with infectious disease doctors, and wound vac home care. As of today I am grateful to have had Dr Madsen as my surgeon. I've have my staples and wound vac removed last week, and on the road to recovery! Finally!! Thank so much!

Dr. Christopher, Madson and the lady helping him in his office were absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend seeing him as your surgeon. There was a little comedy.
