About Douglas Stockton, MD

Dr. Douglas Stockton is a highly skilled vascular surgeon completing his training at The University of Arizona, one of the nation’s premier vascular surgery programs. With a strong foundation in chemistry from The Ohio State University and his medical degree from the University of Toledo, Dr. Stockton has dedicated his career to advancing vascular care.

As Chief Resident in Vascular Surgery, Dr. Stockton has developed exceptional expertise across the full spectrum of vascular procedures. He is proficient in all endovascular techniques including EVAR, TEVAR, FEVAR, TBE, and TCAR, as well as complex open vascular surgeries such as bypasses, endarterectomies, and dialysis access creation. Having trained at Arizona’s largest trauma center, he brings extensive experience managing both blunt and penetrating vascular trauma.

Dr. Stockton is passionate about education and research. He has presented at numerous Grand Rounds on topics ranging from acute limb ischemia to innovative flow-diverting stents, and has a patent pending for glucose oxidation cathode technology. His dedication to advancing the field is matched by his commitment to mentoring medical students and promoting wellness among surgical trainees.
