Western Surgical Group presents a check with 2024 total funds raised, amounting to just under $50,000.

Western Surgical Group has been a proud supporter of Moms on the Run for 10+ years, beginning in 2014.

Moms on the Run is more than just a 5K run/walk. Since 1999, Pinocchio’s Moms on the Run has been helping local women in Northern Nevada diagnosed with breast or gynecological cancer by providing support for everyday living expenses, such as rent, mortgage, food, utilities, car costs, and insurance, to ease the burden of medical bills and financial stress.

“Moms on the Run is the largest race of its kind in Reno, with more than 5,000 participants each year, allowing Moms on the Run to give back to our community over $500,000 each year in assistance.”

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Pinocchio’s Moms on the Run. It will be held on May 11th at Hug High School. Click here for more information and to learn how you can get involved.
