Mark Levin, MD

Dr. Mark Levin is double board-certified in general and vascular surgery, specializing in complex endovascular and open vascular procedures. He is trained in minimally invasive techniques and is committed to offering patients modern treatment options that support strong outcomes and recovery.

Since arriving in Reno in 2019, Dr. Levin has introduced new surgical techniques and technologies to Northern Nevada. He is the only vascular surgeon in the region who performs the full breadth of carotid intervention procedures and was the first in the area to perform transcarotid artery revascularization, a minimally invasive procedure used to treat carotid artery disease. He is also the only surgeon in the region formally trained in complex endovascular aortic surgery and was the first physician in nearly a decade to perform fenestrated aortic aneurysm repair locally.

Dr. Levin previously served as a Research Assistant at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institute and as Chief Resident in General Surgery at Maricopa Medical Center, where he earned multiple awards for leadership and clinical excellence.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Levin is a former collegiate swimmer and Academic All-American. He enjoys camping, fishing, maintaining his aquarium, restoring vintage cars, and coaching Little League, as well as spending time at the pool with his family.
