Dr. Gomez has been performing general, thoracic, trauma and vascular surgery in the Reno community for almost thirty years. He has been instrumental in developing practices in Reno that continually assess new approaches and techniques to benefit patients. He conveys respect for patients as individuals, extending the highest level of courtesy and quality care that are fundamental to quality outcomes. He is currently the medical director of trauma services and chief of surgery at Renown Regional Medical Center. In addition, he is medical director of quality at Renown Regional Medical Center. He is trauma center site reviewer for the American College of Surgeons.
