About Samantha Perkins, PA-C

Before pursuing healthcare, Samantha earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Nevada, Reno. She also earned an Associate of Arts in Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco.  In 2022, Samantha completed her Physician Assistant training at Marywood University in Scranton, PA, earning a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. That same year, she passed the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam. 

Samantha gained invaluable experience through clinical rotations in various specialties, including dermatology, emergency medicine, plastic surgery, psychiatry, OB/GYN, family medicine, and pediatrics. Following graduation, she joined Western Surgical Group as a Physician Assistant, Surgical First Assist. 

Samantha is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants, Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also passionate about volunteering and has contributed to numerous organizations, including COVID-19 vaccination clinics and Ronald McDonald House.
