About Shannon Beal, MD, RPVI, FACS
Dr. Shannon Beal is a fellowship-trained General and Vascular surgeon. She came to Nevada from Sacramento, California.
Dr. Beal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Detroit Mercy and earned her Doctorate from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She completed her general surgical training at UC-Davis Medical Center and pursued a fellowship in vascular surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Professionally, Dr. Beal is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Member of the Society of Vascular Surgery. She is also a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (ultrasound imaging) and has a Fluoroscopy Supervisor and Operator Permit.
Dr. Beal has contributed to numerous journals, including the Journal of the American College of Surgeons, the Journal of Medical Oncology, and the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, and Physics.
In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Dr. Beal received a full soccer athletic scholarship during her undergraduate studies. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, water skiing, alpine skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with her dogs.
